We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late notice means we can't offer that time to another patient who may be waiting in discomfort, so cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and no-shows are subject to a late fee at your practitioner's discretion. Practitioners at Dawn are independent contractors, so if you'd like a fee reconsidered, reach out to your practitioner directly.
If you're running late, a quick text or call is always appreciated so your practitioner can plan accordingly. Appointments end at their scheduled time regardless of when you arrive, so every patient gets their full treatment time, and full session pricing still applies.
Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, e-transfer, and cash. Massage therapy in BC is subject to 5% GST, which is already included in our listed prices.
We direct bill most private extended health insurance providers. Reach out and we're happy to confirm whether we bill yours. We don't have access to your policy details, so please check your coverage limits and requirements (some plans need a physician's referral for reimbursement) with your insurer before your visit. We don't direct bill ICBC or WorkSafeBC: for those claims, you'll pay at your visit and submit your receipt to your case manager or insurer. Please bring your claim number and date of injury when you book.
Extended health claims must match the patient's name, treatment date, and session length, so benefits can't be shared between family members. We also ask that appointments be booked because they're needed, not solely to use up remaining annual benefits.
